Infants are just like the flowers.  They both start small, sometimes unnoticed by others.  Once they start to grow, people will start noticing this new bud.  Upon reaching their maturity and when it is time to show the world themselves, people stop and stare at them.  Adoring and even cuddling them at times.  These are some of the reasons why the baby shower diaper cake gets always picked ever so often when a baby shower is being planned.  You can still make some modifications if you’re dissatisfied with the appearance of the flowers and where it is placed in the cake. 

When designing your very own diaper cake, you should consider some things.  First is the person who will be having the baby shower.  You must try to incorporate everything there is about the person or the couple.  Second, you should know if they are expecting a baby girl or boy.  If they are expecting a baby girl, you can put on some pinks, lilacs and other girly stuff.  The diaper cake will be perfect for her.  But if they are expecting a baby boy, you can put in cars, trucks and ball which are normally associated to the said gender.

Drawing the items can also help the designer or to the person who will be making the cake to see what you want.  The drawing does not need to be perfect.  What you can do is to have a rough draft of the cake with the items already in it.  Below the drawing, you can write thee the details of each drawing.  Take for example a floral diaper cakes; you must state as to how many flowers will be created.  What colors will each flower have and how big will the flowers be.  You can even put there how far should they be distanced from one another to even out the spaces.
